Primary Objective: Responsible for maintaining, repairing, remodeling and performing alterations of client’s buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment following all applicable safety guidelines while providing the best customer service and completing all assigned projects, tasks, and maintenance requests. Selects proper tools, and/or materials to be used to complete a project as assigned by the ISS project manager. Assists in the remodeling of existing buildings and structures including painting, general repairs, basic plumbing, drywall, flooring, and store fixtures. May assist in the fabrication of materials to be used for repair or remodeling. Assists in the performance of preventative maintenance on existing structures, buildings, and equipment. Observe all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. Attend all company-sponsored training. Provide excellent customer service with urgency and passion. Will perform other duties as assigned by management. Physical Requirements: Must be able to make visual comparisons and discriminations and see slight differences in shapes and shadings of figures, widths, and lengths of lines. Must possess the ability to move hands easily and skillfully, including grasping objects, and placing and turning motions. Must be able to stoop or bend below waist level to lift material for special projects. Crouching, twisting, or pivoting at the waist, kneeling, or squatting is also required. Subcontract Meter Reader Wanted Job Type: Part-Time - Independent Contractor Location: Seattle, WA (And Surrounding Areas) Job Description: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual as a 1099 independent contractor to read electric, gas, and water meters part-time in Seattle and surrounding areas. As a meter reader, this individual will be responsible for accurately recording readings and submitting them in a timely manner. We currently have 24 residential and retail properties that are scheduled between the 13th and last day of the month. Responsibilities: • Record meter readings accurately and efferently in Microsoft Excel or a Manual Read APP. • Take photos of meters as needed. • Submit property read files through email and/or upload reads through the Manual Reads APP. • Work independently and manage your own schedule. • Communicate with our team as needed. Requirements: • Must have reliable transportation. • Must have a computer with Microsoft Office to include Excel. • Must have an iPhone or Android Smart Phone. • Must have strong attention to detail. • Must be organized and able to manage your own schedule. • Must have effective communication skills. Bilingual is a plus but not necessary. • Must invoice the company for work performed. Compensation: • Pay varies and is based on the amount of time required on each property. • Invoices are paid twice monthly.
