Our company deals primarily with specialty refrigerators/freezers, Ultra-low temperature freezers, and Liquid Nitrogen Storage. Refrigeration Service Technician Job Responsibilities: • Travel to client locations and perform on-site diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services. • Respond to client inquires while on-site • Complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner and submit to office • Installation of new equipment. Hours and Benefits • The position pays $26 - $36 / hour, depending on experience, and is negotiable. • Flexible work start time, Monday to Friday. • Paid time off for 2 weeks, and 1 week of sick pay, along with paid holidays. • Employer Matched Retirement plan is available. • Employee health insurance is available. Refrigeration Service Technician Qualifications / Skills: • Product knowledge, kitchen equipment is a benefit, but not required • Ability to troubleshoot independently • Brazing / electrical proficiency • Documentation skills • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Follow up on needed parts with office • Multi-tasking • Physical fitness to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and bend frequently • Managing time on service calls with patience and not rushing the job. • The ability to diagnose and solve problems based on customers' non-technical descriptions. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: • An associate degree/high school diploma or technical certification in the industry. • 2 years’ experience is preferable but not required. • EPA license is preferred.
