Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee all safety functions on site and ensure strict adherence to MSHA requirements. Coach and mentor contractors, workers, and new employees on safety best practices and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: Review engineering deliverables and provide constructability feedback to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and fit for purpose. Participate in project schedule reviews and cost forecasting exercises to support accurate planning and execution. Drive, coordinate, and support contractors on site to ensure schedules are met while adhering to engineering documentation (drawings, specifications, etc.). Perform field engineering tasks and coordinate design/technical issues with the Engineer of Record. Collaborate with QA/QC contractors to ensure required samples, tests, and results are completed on time to avoid construction delays. Participate in claim management, helping to resolve issues efficiently. Review and validate contractor invoices, approving for payment where appropriate.
