As a member of the welding team, this position will be responsible to operate welding machines and work with a variety of weld fixtures while adhering to the CWB welding procedures. Hours of this position are Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm - 2:30am. Any OT would be on Friday. What You Will Do: Work effectively in a team environment. Ability to weld using various material and techniques (specifically MIG). Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and/or process sheets. Ability to interpret weld symbols. Complete tasks while ensuring performance targets and quality are met. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Must be an experienced and proficient welder in the GMAW (MIG) welding process. Must be able to train on 1st shift for the first 3 months. Trade school degree highly desired. Ability to use small hand and power tools repetitively, as well as measuring equipment and tools. Ability to read and follow intermediate measurements and instructions with a strong mechanical aptitude. Be a team player, a self-starter and be able to work in a team setting. Good communication skills, ability to work with little supervision, with excellent time management skills. Position Summary Stanbridge University’s Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program is seeking an Adjunct Faculty for Pediatric Interventions, who will play a vital instructional role within the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. This faculty member will provide dynamic and academically enriching instruction focused on pediatric physical therapy interventions, fostering student success in alignment with CAPTE and ACCSC standards. We are seeking an ideal candidate who is a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with significant pediatric clinical experience and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. Exceptional licensed PTAs holding a bachelor’s degree and possessing strong pediatric clinical experience are also warmly invited to apply. Essential Functions: Teach in-person didactic and/or laboratory coursework focused on pediatric physical therapy, including developmental delay, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, autism spectrum disorders, and other pediatric conditions. Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction aligned with course objectives and program outcomes. Utilize multiple instructional strategies including lectures, demonstrations, labs, and simulation-based learning. Evaluate student performance through formative and summative assessments. Provide timely, constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of attendance and grades. Collaborate with fellow faculty and administration on curriculum development and continuous program improvement. Stay current with clinical practices, teaching strategies, and accreditation standards. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and program review processes. Qualifications: Required: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of California. Minimum of four years of clinical experience. This is an in-person on campus teaching position. NOT REMOTE! Teaching or clinical instruction experience preferred. $40-$60/hr. Compensation is based on education and experience. Preferred: Teaching or clinical instruction experience. Master’s Degree or higher in a related field. Familiarity with CAPTE standards and PTA curriculum development. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
