What You’ll Do Serve as RMO for Osta’s C-20 HVAC operations — maintaining full compliance with California C-20 (HVAC) licensing, codes, and regulations. Oversee job quality—ensure HVAC installations, repairs, and inspections pass the first time. Perform HVAC work (or supervise technicians) including: Installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Equipment setup, ductwork, system troubleshooting, refrigerant handling (EPA-certified), and emergency service. Mentor and guide HVAC technicians in safety, compliance, and technical execution. Leverage Osta’s mobile app for real-time job tracking, documentation, invoicing—zero paperwork. Collaborate closely with dispatch and support for seamless scheduling and routing. Requirements What You Bring Active California C-20 HVAC Contractor License in good standing (Required for RMO). 4+ years of hands-on HVAC/R experience in residential and/or light commercial settings. Strong knowledge of California HVAC codes, California UPC, OSHA/Cal-OSHA standards, and permitting procedures. Leadership ability to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance. EPA Section 608 Universal Certification—mandated for refrigerant work. Own tools and reliable transportation (truck or van). Tech-savvy, comfortable using mobile apps and cloud-based systems.
