We are seeking an experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to add to our growing team at our Gold (SUTQ), NAC-accredited childcare and preschool center located in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will be charged with creating a caring and educational atmosphere for children 3 - 4 years of age. Your responsibilities will include fostering strong relationships with families and working collaboratively with a team of committed professionals to facilitate the growth and development of our young learners. Responsibilities Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth. Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity. Promote positive group dynamics for safe, fun and team-building activities. Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment, adhering to all licensing and accreditation standards. Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to design and execute daily activities and routines catering to the unique needs of each child. Requirements Possession of a CDA, AA or higher degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is a plus, but not required for this position. Career Pathways Level 3 certification (preferred for Lead Teacher). At least one year of Lead Teacher experience working in a licensed ODJFS child care program. Current physical and ability to pass BCI/FBI background check. Must have a valid driver's license in order to transport children. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants and young children. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and support staff. Reliable, compassionate, and able to create a warm, nurturing and responsive environment for children and families. Maintain a clean and neat appearance. Must be dependable and maintain a good work record as to punctuality and daily attendance. This special event focuses on fostering creativity and holiday spirit through engaging arts and craft activities for the children who attend Mayfield Market. The Stipend for these 4 hours is $250. Responsibilities: Design and lead hands-on visual arts and craft workshop(s) for children so they can leave the event with a keepsake. Instruct participants on various techniques and mediums, including painting, drawing, and crafting seasonal decorations. Facilitate a fun and creative environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration among participants. Assist with the setup and organization of the art and craft area during the event. The ideal candidate will have experience with concrete placement, finishing, and repair in a commercial or industrial construction setting. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Prepare and set forms for concrete placement according to blueprints and specifications. Mix, pour, spread, and level concrete for slabs, sidewalks, curbs, walls, and other structures. Smooth and finish surfaces using hand tools and power tools. Monitor curing of concrete to ensure durability and strength. Perform concrete patching, repairs, and surface preparation as needed. Operate equipment such as power screeds, trowels, and saws. Assist with layout, measuring, and grading. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite. QUALIFICATIONS: Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time and within quality standards. Previous commercial construction/concrete experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Knowledge of concrete properties, curing methods, and finishing techniques. Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
