Aethon Energy Operating LLC’s (“Aethon”) on primary responsibilities of the Senior Landman are facilitating the addition of oil and gas reserves and the preservation of existing leasehold interest in assigned geographical area. DUTIES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Negotiate oil and gas lease rights with mineral owners Analyze and interpret lease-purchase agreements Evaluate acreage, develop lease offers, and review titles to determine ownership Analyze lease terms and determine drilling requirements Cure title prior to drilling Prepare and negotiate farm in/farm out, joint operating, and other contractual agreements as necessary Manage/maintain existing leasehold, rental, and unit obligations Represent the company as the primary point of contact for landowners and the State with regard to leasehold matters Mentor and train less experienced Landmen Work with others as part of a multi-disciplined team to ensure efficient operations and enhanced productivity Requirements Education & Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. You in The Role and on The Team In this role, you are a highly motivated Robotics Technician to join our team and contribute to the deployment, service, and monitoring for our robotic solutions. Prior experience with assessing feasibility/cost and detailed design for excavation and off-site disposal projects, in-situ chemical injections (oxidant and reductant approaches), sub-slab depressurization systems, and other remedial systems is required. The successful candidate will work with junior engineers, geologists and environmental scientists to design and manage field work including groundwater, soil, soil vapor, and surface water sampling, manage and evaluate field and lab data, supervise contractors and drillers, and support the preparation of reports and conduct review of reports developed by junior staff. This individual will be responsible for cost estimating, proposals, invoicing, and client management. Prior experience with environmental investigations and remediation at E-Designation projects is a plus. This position may have some limited fieldwork at times.
