Closing Date: September, 26th 2025 As a Gearbox Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in our high-performance team. Working at the forefront of motorsport innovation, you will own the design and detailing of gearbox components and complete transmission systems — from initial concept through to racetrack performance. This involves: Design and integration of precision gearbox and transmission systems, including metallic and composite components Influencing and guiding design, feasibility, compliance documentation, and assembly Close collaboration with cross-functional departments to optimize integration, ensure reliability, and uphold the highest quality standards in design and manufacturing Requirements Driven by high performance What do you need to bring to the team? Experience in high-performance motorsport or automotive engineering is essential, preferably in Formula 1®, WEC, Indy Car or similar categories. You must also have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ experience in the end-to-end design and integration of precision gearbox and transmission systems under high load and temperature environments Strong proficiency in CAD (preferably Siemens NX or CATIA 3DX or similar), with in-depth knowledge of GD&T and complex tolerance stacks Sound understanding of structural design, rotating systems, lubrication, and FIA technical regulations Experience with carbon composite gearbox housings and hybrid system integration is desirable A team like no other.
