Location: New York, NY (On-site) or Remote (Pacific Time hours) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Our client is a fast-growing tech startup building the future of APIs, with over $35 million in funding from top-tier investors. They work directly with industry leaders like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Cloudflare. As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer, you'll be an Applied AI Engineer who builds and deepens the technical relationship with these critical users. This role is a dynamic mix of engineering, product, and deployment, focused on solving high-impact problems alongside the people shaping the future of AI. To thrive here, you’ll need strong judgment, broad technical fluency, and a passion for developer experience. What You'll Do Work directly with critical customers like OpenAI and Anthropic to evolve their SDKs and write custom utilities for advanced use cases like structured outputs and tool-calling. Build AI-powered tooling to configure new users’ SDKs and translate custom solutions from one language to many. Write code both internally (e.g., improving their SDK Codegen) and for external customers (e.g., examples and demos). Contribute to public-facing materials by writing great documentation and helping to build a great website. Requirements 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, ideally as a founder or founding engineer at a developer tool startup. A polyglot with an interest in and comfort working across multiple programming languages. Experience using AI to generate high-quality code. A true passion for developer experience and empathy for all developers. A quick learner and a self-motivated builder who loves to craft great products. Experience with building and consuming APIs. A track record of building something before, whether it's an open-source project, a business, or a club. In this critical role, you will serve as the primary escalation point for IT issues that L1 support cannot resolve, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. You will leverage your strong understanding of our systems and advanced diagnostic abilities to enhance user satisfaction and maintain smooth operations. This position involves a blend of problem-solving, system maintenance, configuration, documentation, and potentially training L1 staff. This role will work out of LifeMD’s Pharmacy location in Lancaster, PA, supporting IT Operations on-site, as well as for the entire organization. Core Responsibilities: Microsoft Windows and macOS Environments: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for Windows desktop and server operating systems. Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows systems and peripherals. Manage user profiles, permissions, and network troubleshoot. Offer advanced troubleshooting and technical support for macOS desktop operating systems. Linux Environment: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Linux-based systems, including servers and developer workstations. Google Workspace: Offer end-user support and troubleshooting for Google Workspace applications. Assist with user account administration and best practices guidance.
