Cedars first opened its doors in 1919, and for more than a century our person-centered programs and services have supported tens of hundreds of clients in living creative, productive, joyous and healthy lives. Cedars is looking to hire a full-time Gardening Crew Instructor in our TAC program. In this role you will use your gardening skills, love of the outdoors, patience and compassion to instruct a small crew of adults with developmental disabilities in gardening, yard maintenance and upkeep. You will help each participant work as independently as possible and to their full potential, offering individual support as needed, with the goal of providing these services at private homes and properties in Marin County. This position will require some degree of caregiving, to the extent that a participant requires. The hours are Monday -Friday from 8 am - 4 pm. The rate of pay is $24 / hour. For full time permanent employees, a hiring bonus of up to $1,000 will be distributed over the course of the first year of employment.
