Veterinary Assistant responsibilities include: animal restraint, taking patient histories, maintenance and cleaning of exam room and surgery room, client communication, scheduling, assisting doctors in room, administering vaccines/injections, collecting/preparing lab samples, running in-house diagnostic testing, taking digital x-rays, surgical assistance, general nursing care, and other tasks including stocking of supplies and cleaning of our hospital.
