We are seeking a qualified Childcare Floater / Support Staff Teacher to add to our growing team at our Gold (SUTQ), NAC-accredited childcare and preschool center located in Stow, Ohio. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a caring and educational atmosphere for children. Your responsibilities will include fostering strong relationships with families and working collaboratively with a team of committed professionals to facilitate the growth and development of our young learners. Responsibilities Provide support for the Lead and Assistant Teachers. Assist with maintaining schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest and playtime. Conducting daily duties such as serving meals, toileting/changing pull ups, recording daily reports/attendance, covers breaks, fill in during staff absence, engage in play and other daily activities. Maintain a healthy and safe environment for all children. Attend and participate in Center-provided meetings and trainings to comply with state regulations for child care professionals. Requirements Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is a plus. At least 1 year of child care experience in a licensed ODJFS child care program Ability to pass a BCI/FBI background check and maintain current physical health standards. Comfortable working with children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 12 years. Reliable and dependable with strong work habits; expected to be in place and ready for work at scheduled times, with minimal tardiness or absenteeism. Reliable and compassionate, capable of fostering a warm, nurturing environment for children and families. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
