Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) — a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York — seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission aligned Safety Officer with the Safety Department. The Safety Officer will bring a passion for the mission of Harlem Children’s Zone: break the cycle of intergenerational poverty with comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that builds up opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life. We are seeking part-time Safety Officers to provide safety and welfare for the students and staff at all HCZ buildings. The team member will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of brand new model homes, including bathrooms and Sales Offices. Team member may also be asked to perform various minor maintenance tasks (such as emptying trash and changing lightbulbs). Work is typically performed in the morning between 5am to 10am, however exceptions can be made based on availability.
