This could be your career-defining move. The Safety Manager plays a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and execution of the Paradigm Safety Program. This position focuses on ensuring safety compliance across various projects, standardizing safety procedures and documentation, and fostering a culture of safety through training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Safety Manager will work closely with site personnel to maintain a safe working environment while adhering to industry regulations and company policies. Essential Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and manage comprehensive safety programs for power delivery construction (transmission, distribution, substations). Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, DOT, ANSI, NESC, and other industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Lead safety training programs for field crews, supervisors, and leadership teams. Conduct job site safety audits and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions. Investigate incidents and near-misses, providing root cause analysis and strategies for continuous improvement. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety into project planning and execution. Promote a proactive safety culture, ensuring all employees and subcontractors are engaged in best practices. Engagement with trade and industry associations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field strongly preferred. CSP certification required if bachelor's degree not complete. Eight plus years in construction safety management with 4 plus years in power delivery. Strong Knowledge of Safety Regulations; OSHA 30/OSHA 500, NFPA 70E, DOT, ANSI, and utility safety standards. Ability to identify hazards and implement proactive solutions. Ability to engage teams and influence a culture of safety. CUSP, CHST certifications are preferred. Experience in analyzing metrics and audits to improve safety performance. Travel: Can be up to 75% depending on project load. Position is based in Overland Park, KS with travel to project sites as needed to support the projects and inspections. Projects will have Safety Coordinator on site as a project assignment.   Our benefits cover you and your family on day one!
