TRP is seeking an EHS Regional Coordinator to become part of our team, and to share our core values of increasing road safety for the traveling public and delivering the highest level of precision and excellence.   Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable EHS Coordinator will oversee our North Carolina/South Carolina Divisions . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and health of our workforce by implementing and overseeing safety protocols on project sites. This position requires a strong understanding of occupational health standards, compliance management, and risk management practices. The EHS Coordinator will work closely with various teams to build a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.   Requirements Primary Responsibilities Implement and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular inspections of project sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide training and resources to employees on occupational health practices, emergency procedures, and safe work practices. Lead safety training and orientation for all employees. Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into construction management plans. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training sessions for compliance with TRP safety program. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Field Specific Responsibilities Visit and walk the jobsites on a regular basis to establish EHS presence and provide support. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly EHS Meetings/Trainings and schedule as needed. Perform field safety observations during each visit. Ability to evaluate PPE and ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE. Conduct critical behavior-based safety observations as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Business Unit EHS Director. Oversight and Implementation of Day-to-Day field operations. Work with the facility leadership and field teams to ensure work practices are understood and followed.   Key Performance Indicators This position will be responsible for influencing the following performance metrics: EHS Management System Facility Action Plans Region EHS Training Compliance: >95% OSHA Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR): OSHA Days Away Restricted and Transfer Cases (DART) Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Individual Development Plan and Status Weekly Branch Location Visit Summary Completion: 8/week – 32/month – 384/year Notification of Injury / Incident / Motor Vehicle Collision Driver Qualification Files and Compliance: >95%   Responsible Vehicle Accident Rate   Qualifications 1-4 years of work experience in the EHS Field. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Construction Management or related field Bilingual is highly preferred for this role Plus, a minimum 2-years’ experience in an onsite-safety compliance role.
