Description

Essel Environmental is looking for a skilled Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the safety of all employees on the job site by coordinating safety programs and initiatives, as well as ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Organize and facilitate safety training programs for employees. Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation. Act as a liaison between management and employees to promote a safety-first culture. Monitor and report on safety performance metrics. Respond to safety concerns from employees and take appropriate actions. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role within the construction or environmental industry. - Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards. - Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. - Certification in safety (e.g., OSHA 30, CHST) is preferred. - Must have a OSHA 30 - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
