ProHealth is looking for a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) that is energetic, passionate and outgoing and that is interested in providing a variety of care to our dynamic customer base. The Nurse Practitioner position is responsible for interviewing clients, obtaining and recording health histories, performing physical and developmental assessments, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, diagnosing health problems and managing the health care of clients. Maintains health records and suggest referrals when necessary. Responsible for standard operating procedures, including but not limited to, ensuing policies and procedures within each office are carried out in a fair and consistent manner while providing excellence in patient care. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for treating patients, obtaining the medical history and reviewing the of symptoms of the patient as follows: Performs physical examinations. Assures that preventive screening procedures are carried out and communicated to the patient and recorded appropriately. Responsible for identifying medical and health risk factors and communicating the same. Responsible for updating and recording changes on the health status and diagnosis. Orders appropriate diagnostic tests. Identifies appropriate pharmacological agents. Identifies non-pharmacologic interventions. Develops education plans. Accurately conducts and interprets diagnostic tests. Prescribes pharmacologic agents. Prescribes non-pharmacologic therapies. Provides patient education. Makes appropriate referrals. Determines effectiveness of the plan of care. Reassesses and modifies the plan as necessary. Promotes a safe environment for the patient. Participates as a team member in the provision of medical and health care. Interact with professional colleagues through chart review, consultation and referrals. Systematically reviews records and treatment plans with collaborating physician on a periodic basis. Maintains current knowledge by attending educational programs. Maintains certification in compliance with current state laws. Other measures may be initiated depending on the client’s condition and judgment of ARNP. Twelve lead electrocardiogram. Suturing simple and complex lacerations not requiring tendon or ligament repair. Incision and drainage of abscess. Care of wounds and burns. Application of splints. Removal of foreign bodies when necessary. May prescribe drug therapies that the ARNP may recommend, initiate, monitor, alter, or order. Any prescription medication which is within the scope of training and knowledge base of the nurse practitioner. May prescribe scheduled II through VI controlled substances in accordance with state laws and scope of practice as set forth and in accordance with protocols established between the practitioner and collaborative physician. All other procedures which ARNP has been educated to perform. Attending monthly meetings with branch and corporate staff and conduct the same when necessary. Ensures all OSHA, Safety and Healthcare Practices and Protocols are implemented and maintained within each branch. Responsible for ensuring all State Medical regulations are maintained as required. Ensures that all staff licenses are verified and maintained as required. Identifies and submit ideas for improvement. All other duties as assigned. Supervisory/Work Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting with overseeing the clinical staff. Work Location: Primary location is 224 Eglin Pky Fort Walton Beach, FL but you will be asked to work at additional locations in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Milton and Pace. Travel: 50% within the Florida Panhandle Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Education: CRNP License in the state of Florida. Must be in good standing. Experience: Two plus years’ experience in multi-site medical setting strongly preferred. License to perform DOT physicals preferred or must be able to obtain prior to start date Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the US. The Registered Nurse (RN) on the Referral Coordination Team (RCT) is responsible for coordinating and clinically reviewing consults and referrals to ensure the delivery of appropriate, timely, and high-quality care. The RN functions as a clinical liaison between patients, internal and external providers, and administrative staff, ensuring the consult and referral process is comprehensive, effective, and aligned with clinical guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Conduct clinical review of consults and referral requests for completeness, appropriateness, and utilization in accordance with established standards and guidelines. Determine disposition of care, including whether services should be rendered internally or through community providers, based on utilization criteria. Review and document incoming medical records, maintaining communication with ordering providers and primary care teams. Coordinate care across multiple entities, including patients, external providers, internal clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of referrals and authorizations. Triage specialty consults to assess clinical appropriateness and completeness according to national coordination standards. Engage patients via telephone to discuss healthcare options, enabling informed decisions on where and how to receive specialty care when community care eligibility criteria are met. Serve as a clinical resource to multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, licensed independent practitioners, social workers, and support staff across multiple regions. Assist in the development and revision of consult templates in collaboration with clinical application coordinators. Act as a liaison throughout the consult process, supporting both internal clinical staff and community care partners. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with specialty care providers and utilize established triage tools to support informed decision-making and care coordination. Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license. Clinical experience in care coordination, case management, or referral management preferred. Strong knowledge of clinical triage, utilization review, and community care guidelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams and patient populations. Bay Area Women's Center seeks a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) to join our team. The SANE at the Bay Area Women’s Center is an employee with flexible scheduling, collaborating to set a monthly on-call schedule and responding when a survivor requests an exam. BAWC stands as a beacon of hope and support for individuals facing domestic and sexual violence. The center offers a safe haven and a range of vital services for survivors, including medical-forensic services, ensuring that every person in need receives the care and assistance necessary to rebuild and empower their lives. The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program plays a crucial role in a survivor’s healing. The SANE nurse provides compassionate, non-judgmental care to survivors. This care includes assessment for pregnancy and STI, written and photographic documentation, referrals for medical and psychological follow-up, and support during the exam to help the survivor understand the effects of trauma. The medical forensic examination is critical if the survivor chooses to report the assault to law enforcement. Specific Duties: Perform a complete medical-forensic exam, including obtaining a patient history, a head-to-toe physical assessment for trauma, a detailed genital exam, forensic evidence collection, written & photographic documentation, assessing for mandatory reporting status, reporting when appropriate, administering appropriate prophylactic medications per protocols & recommending appropriate referrals. Participate in professional development as determined by the SANE program, including staff meetings, conferences, and in-service training. Respond to requests within 60 minutes of the initial call when on call.
