As a Registered Nurse, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – particularly during IR procedures. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience. This is a part-time position working in Vienna and DC clinic locations. Responsibilities Ensure smooth daily operations of the cath labs Oversee ordering and inventory of cath lab supplies Willingness to travel among nearby cath lab locations Administer sedition medication under the direction of physician. Schedule and obtain pre certifications for all cath lab patients Act as a liaison to patients with any questions they may have Perform pre and post operative phone calls Work closely with the Operations team Recover patients and assist in the cath lab procedure room as necessary Additional duties as needed. Requirements This is a part-time position working in Vienna and DC clinic locations. Bachelor degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, required. Compact license is required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified, required Experience pushing sedation is required Ability to start peripheral IV’s and perform phlebotomy, required Previous experience in the application of leads for Telemetry Monitors and ECG’s; required Previous experience with Pulse Oximetry monitoring; required Must be familiar with peripheral arterial catheterization lab procedures, as well as post-procedure recovery work, required Previous experience monitoring patients during angiograph and in the recovery room, required Salary Ranges from $90,000 to $115,000
