We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our growing team. As an HHA with Ultimate Care NY, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing essential support with daily living activities, companionship, and personal care. You will work closely with clients and their families to create a nurturing environment that fosters independence and dignity. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their well-being. Monitor and record clients' vital signs and health status as instructed by healthcare professionals. Help clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair and assisting with walking. Perform light housekeeping duties and ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients. Administer medication and ensure clients adhere to their prescribed health plan as instructed. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to report any changes in clients’ health or needs. Requirements Must have a valid Home Health Aide certification from an accredited program. Experience in home health care or a related field is preferred. Ability to provide compassionate care and support to clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and their families. Knowledge of basic health care and safety practices. Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
