Proudly reconstructed from engine fire. Engine has new larger 88MM Mahle cylinders and pistons and Empi cylinder heads resulting in 1679CC displacement, larger 40 mm carburetor and updated alternator. Original heater ducts are in place and functional and all air ducts are in place. Engine compartment has been meticulously detailed with new tarboard insulation and rubber seals. The seats have been reupholstered at some point and look great, and the floor pans have been replaced as well. No signs of rust. This bug runs strong, drives great, and the transmission shifts smoothly. The sunroof works nicely. This charming bug is not perfect or concourse, but it is nice, fully functional and presentable. Reconstruction work has been fully documented by photo and receipts have been kept. Reply with your phone number and a good time to call.
