Description

We are seeking a bilingual Drill Locator/Operator in Fort Wayne, IN to join our underground drilling team and support daily drilling operations. Responsibilities: Assist with the setup and operation of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment; Perform underground utility locating and marking to ensure safe drilling in compliance with project specifications; Follow safety protocols and quality standards to support safe and accurate drilling operations; Maintain accurate bore path logs and assist with jobsite documentation as directed; Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth execution of daily tasks; Support restoration efforts and site cleanup following completion of drilling work; Inspect and perform basic maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure proper functionality and readiness. Requirements Fluency in both, English and Spanish required; A valid, unrestricted CDL is a must; 2+ years of experience in underground drilling operations (HDD); Strong knowledge of HDD equipment, safety practices, and restoration work; Prior experience leading field crews strongly preferred; Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned region.
