1980 Mercedes 240 D. The car runs and seems like it will chug along forever. It has a new battery and the tires have less than 500 miles on them. The clutch was replaced with not many miles on it. The oil has been regularly changed. The odometer is broken, but showing 276,630 miles. The body of the car is definitely showing it’s age. The floor of the left side of the back seat has rusted through in the corner (see pictures). You will want to replace the door seals (I have door seals that are included) to make it water-tight. The climate control is not working, the radio doesn’t work, the passenger-side winshield wiper doesn’t work (this is probably an easy fix). The front passenger door doesn’t open and that window doesn’t roll down. This was my daily car in Seattle until I moved to Eastern Washington. It was fine getting there and back, but wasn’t harsh winter ready and I wasn’t able to park it somewhere where I could plug in the engine heating block.
