RMF Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for our Boston Division. This position carries great potential for a motivated individual interested in growing their technical design expertise within mechanical and sustainable design as well as developing their leadership abilities. Responsibilities: The Mechanical Engineer will perform engineering calculations and prepare detailed mechanical engineering drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design for buildings primarily within the Higher Education, Laboratory, and Healthcare market sectors. The Mechanical Engineer will work under the direction of a Project Manager and senior technical oversight. Position: Designer/Sales Assistant Location: San Diego to Oceanside, CA (travel required) Job Type: Variable hours, including weekends We are seeking a highly organized and driven Designer/Sales Assistant to support our growing design team. This role demands flexibility, initiative, and strong communication skills. You will play a key role in client management, material planning, and design execution. Repair operations which may be supported include gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding, shielded metal arc welding, epoxies/composites, and mechanical/machining processes. The candidate will need to have or learn the ability to develop and interpret specifications, drawings, and engineering standards. Applicant must be able to plan and execute work programs, design experiments, analyze experimental results, and prepare technical reports. * Candidates who have automated/mechanized gas tungsten arc welding experience and that have demonstrated acumen in executing laboratory work are preferred. We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer for construction . Must have a strong background in computer-aided design for multifamily construction, and be proficient in various CAD software applications. This role involves creating detailed layouts, understanding plans sets, constructability and modeling for successful project execution. -Develop and prepare detailed CAD drawings and models using software such as AutoCAD, and Blue Beam. Other industry standard software may be acceptable. -Collaborate with architect ,engineer and field management to understand design requirements and translate them into layouts -Review project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. -Produce schematics for construction projects, including mechanical design elements. -Assist in the development of graphic design materials as needed for presentations or project proposals. -Maintain organized files of all designs and revisions for easy access by team members. You must have : Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD. New construction CAD experience is required- rough trades- will discuss. Strong understanding of construction documentation as well as production builds. Site / Field experience is a plus. Ability to prove recent experience and employment in this field.
