About the Role: Essel is looking for an experienced Solar Superintendent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in solar energy construction and a proven ability to lead teams effectively. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing solar installation projects, ensuring that operations run smoothly and project milestones are met. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage solar installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Lead and supervise a team of technicians, subcontractors, and laborers on the job site. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to review project designs and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure work adheres to project schedules and projected budgets. Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and the internal project team. Implement safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Troubleshoot project-related problems and develop solutions to ensure uninterrupted progress. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and compliance reports. Requirements Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in the solar construction industry or similar role. Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and installation practices. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams on-site. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with relevant safety and compliance regulations. Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed. OSHA certification preferred. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for knowing all aspects of client and project safety requirements and for enforcing them throughout their jobsite. Ensure a safe workplace is established and maintained. Ensure efficient usage of manpower, material, and equipment. Coordinate the day-to-day activities of all direct-hire and subcontracted labor. Ensure subcontractors are working to the current project schedule, and that subcontractors are productively executing their work. Ensure all standards are met or exceeded. Coordinate the completion of any punch list items. Strive for “Zero Punch List”. Establish a positive relationship with the owner’s representative. Documentation of daily Procore progress reports including photographs, file meeting minutes from all job site meetings, and highlight information that may affect project cost, schedule, or quality to the Project and/or Construction Manager. Anticipate and avoid potential cost and schedule impacts. Develop an understanding of the project scope and requirements. Work with the Project and/or Construction Manager to develop the detailed schedule control reporting documentation. Along with the Project Manager, develop a close-out and turnover plan. Develop a detailed project execution plan. Assist in the preparation of proposals. Participate in the presentations of proposals to potential clients. Install electrical distribution equipment: switchgear, panels, transformers, disconnects. Proficient with circuitry of the trade to include power and control terminations. We build homes in the Tri-Cities and Boise areas and take pride in the craftsmanship, design, and experience we provide for each home we build. Overview We are seeking a CAD Drafter to join our team and our small office in Nampa. We are interested in either experienced or fresh-out-of-school candidates. If you are experienced, you can hit the ground running. Otherwise, we'll help guide you with our existing team. This person will be working on drafting plans for both Washington and Idaho. The ideal candidate will be proficient in any CAD software and possess a strong understanding of design principles. We use Chief Architect, however, you don't have to have experience with Chief (if you do, that's a bonus, and let us know). Experience with AutoDesk Revit or other software is fine. We'll teach you Chief Architect, you bring the willingness and ability to learn new software. You'll be creating new floorplans, 3D models/renders, modifying existing plans, and creating permit documents, and field layouts, among others!
