Position: Robotic Press Operator / Tool Room Helper Location: Sterling Heights, MI Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday – Thursday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, with Friday hours as needed) Wage Range: $25 - $30/hour to start depending on experience Position Type: Direct Hire We are currently looking for a mechanically inclined individual to join a leading Tier 1 automotive company in Sterling Heights, MI as a Robotic Press Operator / Tool Room Helper. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Set up and pull dies for repairs and preventive maintenance. Assist with die changeovers to ensure smooth operations. Perform start-up, shutdown, and changeover of robotic and press-related equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify solutions. Maintain robotic press lines to ensure they meet operational standards. Conduct safety checks and automation inspections regularly. Handle cutting, banding, final inspection, and labeling of finished goods. Perform housekeeping duties, record-keeping, and scrap removal. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience as a Press Operator or Tool Room Helper. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
