BMW M3 E46 Manual Coupe - $25,000 (Des Moines)

address22000 Pacific Hwy S, Des Moines, WA 98198, USA

Description

Native 6MT Coupe. Every factory option. Not a show queen, but is by far the best mechanically maintained M3 that you will find for this price. The car was purchased at auction back when it was new and rebuilt by the owner of Absolut German to be his daily driver. I bought it from him in 2011 and put 50kmi on it since. There is zero frame damage, or subframe issues - I can put it on a lift for you to look at for yourself. It has been driven seldom since 2018 and has become redundant in my stable, but I just had trouble letting it go. If you know these cars, you know. I kept going back and forth between selling it or holding it, and then my girlfriend needed a car and loved it... I decided to bullet-proof it mechanically and do everything 'while in there', but some parts got mis-shipped, then put on back order, by the time I got it all done, she'd bought another car, and then we broke up. Only an idiot would do this much work on a car before selling it, but here I am... At 81,475mi: - Alternator (OEM Bosch) - Radiator (Aftermarket Aluminum upgrade) - Converted from mechanical hand grenade clutch fan (research this!) to electric fan system. - Aux AIT Sensor relocation mod (again, research this - OEM combo sensor is a bad design). - Coolant Flush. At 88,243mi: - Clutch Replaced (OEM self-adjusting fancy one) - Flywheel (OEM super expensive dual mass kind) - All four O2 sensors (Bosch) - Tested all coils, replaced two of them (Bosch) - Rear Main Seal. - Front Transmission Seal. - Throw-out bearing. - Replaced all springs, bushings, and linkage pins. - Valve adjustment and VANOS inspection. At: 90,122mi: - Rod Bearings $640 kit from ECSTuning with all the 'while in there' stuff. All new seals, gaskets, screens, etc. - All OEM Spark Plugs. - Brake Rotors All (Slotted) - Brake Pads All (Ceramic) - Brake Fluid Flush. Stereo: OEM the car came with best offered system, which had the 6-disk trunk mounted changer. The job to upgrade this cost $2200 because custom long harnesses needed to be made to run from the head unit to the amp in the trunk. The current system is BlueTooth with Navigation, and Backup Camera. It works with all of the factory steering controls. Most people think it was OEM. Cash Only! No financing. Only trade I might be interested in, would be a BMW R18 motorcycle.
