Selling my beloved (but currently non-running) 2006 Lexus LX470 in rare Cypress Pearl over ivory leather with 176,000 miles. These leveled-up Land Cruisers are true modern classics, and clean, stock examples in this color are extremely hard to find. In another life, I’d happily drop ~$10k to install a used or rebuilt 2UZ-FE and confidently drive it another 150k miles (if you know, you know — these trucks are known to go the distance). In this life, however, I have access to another reliable vehicle that I can’t sell (gifted/sentimental), so I’m reluctantly letting this one go. ⸻ The Good: • Rust-free and Southern-owned: Originally from Texas; garage-kept in GA and TN since 2021 • Fully stock: Never lifted, never off-roaded • OEM adjustable height suspension (AHC): Fully functional before engine seized • Paint: Cypress Pearl in excellent condition – no clear coat issues or fading • Strong cosmetics and structure: Clean body, carpets, and panels • Cold AC and Bridgestone Duelers with >70% left • Two master keys + valet key • Clean Tennessee title in hand • All service records since 2021 included The Not-So-Good: • Blown engine: Radiator or hose failed while my wife was driving, and sudden coolant loss caused the engine to overheat and seize up. It will need to be towed and have the engine replaced. • Front seats need upholstery: Leather is cracked and showing some wear; quoted at ~$1,800 for both seats • Audio system is down: Mark Levinson amp failed; replacement units run ~$350. Speakers could also need replacement, but I've never tested them. • Telescoping steering motor (in/out function) is not working; tilt (up/down) still functions • Driver seat forward/back switch is stuck (I suspect this is a simple fix of removing debris from within the button mechanism.) • Small dent over fender from downed tree branch (see photo)...could probably be pulled without painting (i.e. no sharp corners) ⸻ The No-Haggle/FIRM/Bottom-Dollar price is $6,500. Don't come see it if you don't plan to pay that price...we'll both leave disappointed. If you know what this is and have the means to restore it, you’re looking at a fantastic platform with great bones. Serious inquiries only. No trades. No tire-kickers. No, I will not take $4,000.
