Stolen Item: WWII U.S. Army Signal Gun (South Jersey)

About a year ago I had some people in my home to do a minor renovation. One of the contractors walked off with my grandfather's WWII U.S. Army Signal Gun. I have tried to go through the proper channels to retrieve my stolen property but that turned out to be a big waste of time. This signal gun does not shoot any type of projectile. It is basically a fancy flashlight. It would look like the one in the photo which is a museum piece. I feel that the person has probably sold, or tried to sell it by now. If you have seen it, bought it, or had someone try to sell it to you, please let me know.
