Appear in state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies. Conduct legal research and draft high-quality memoranda, motions, and briefs. Maintain regular communication with clients and provide strategic legal counsel throughout the litigation process. Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas. 3+ years of litigation experience (employment law, torts, or civil rights cases preferred). Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. Experience with case management systems and litigation software. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently. Preferred Qualifications Trial experience (first or second chair). Experience with cases involving sexual harassment, assault, or civil rights. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus. As a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney you will be responsible for representing clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters. You will work closely with clients, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and advocate on behalf of clients in court. You will handle court appearances, pleading motions, discovery, depositions, mediations, pre-trial preparation, and trial. You will also be a key part of the client relationship. You will report directly to a partner and, depending on your legal experience, will likely be the primary handling attorney on your own cases.
