Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Landlord Tenant Law and be eager to jump into litigation, requiring weekly court appearances. This role requires oral advocacy skills, as well as the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. Looking for someone who can think on their feet before the Court. As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with senior attorneys to provide comprehensive legal support and representation. Duties Appear in various Housing and District Courts for mediations, motions and trials. Draft Motions and discovery as required during the litigation process. Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored legal solutions. Maintain accurate records of case progress and communicate updates to clients regularly. Stay current with changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases. Skills Knowledge of Landlord Tenant, Consumer Protection and Fair Housing is preferred. Excellent legal research skills to gather relevant information efficiently. Proficient writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents. Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients during mediations. Ability to analyze legal issues and develop strategic solutions. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients, colleagues, court staff and Judges.
