Beacon Hill's client, a top Am Law 50 firm, is seeking an Asset & Corporate Finance Attorney to support the firm's team that advises lenders, master servicers, and special servicers in financing transactions involving commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS). Position: Special Project Lawyer (SPL) -Asset & Corporate Finance Attorney Location: Remote, but candidates must be licensed and residing in Washington, Oregon, or California Start: ASAP Estimated Duration: 6 months, with the potential to extend or convert to a permanent role (Concurrent employment is not permitted) Hours: 30-40 hours per week, with an anticipated ramp-up period Ideal Candidate: 5+ years of experience in financing transactions Active bar license in good standing in the same jurisdiction in which you reside (Washington, Oregon, or California) Strong background in real estate law and real estate finance Professionally mature, steady, and looking for a long-term opportunity (ideally someone open to conversion) Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Handling a range of commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) loan servicing matters on both performing and non-performing loans, including: Loan modifications Assumptions Equity transfers Consent requests Demand letters Pre-default work Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
