Seasonal General Laborers - Leaf Collection – Begins Soon! We are accepting applications for upcoming Seasonal General Labor positions which will begin October 27th and run for approximately 6-8 weeks. $15- $16 per hour based on which Program. Some of the requirements for this Season’s Leaf Removal Program will be - To have work boots - Must be able to work 40 hours Monday- Friday (7am til 330pm) - Must communicate/check in with office daily by 6:15am - No violent felonies in the past seven years. - 5 panel urinalysis drug screen (IN-HOUSE) - Work in inclement weather Good attendance & accountability are key factors towards success. These positions require manual dexterity with both hands as well as, bending and turning from side to side repeatedly, the ability to operate/handle vacuum tube & rakes. Work is performed in inclement cold, wet or warm weather. The duties can be physically demanding at times. Job Summary The Floor Care Technician is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet (including scrubbing, buffing, carpet extraction, vacuuming, etc.). The Floor Care Technician provides superior cleaning services onsite at Carlson client locations under limited supervision and works in a collaborative relationship with other Carlson Building Maintenance team members. The Floor Care Technician is a representative of Carlson and interacts with customers, store personnel and the public in a respectful and friendly manner. Job Tasks: Operating Floor Machines Sweeping Debris Cleanup Vacuuming Restroom Cleaning Quality Control Checks New Hire Training Requirements: Availability to work on weekends Reliable transportation or access to public transportation Physical Demands: Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds. Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over concrete, tile and carpeted floors. Must possess sufficient physical strength, ability and stamina to perform a variety of janitorial tasks related to care of floors. Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products. Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours as dictated by the needs of the position. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
