Farm Maintenance Worker (Easton)

We are seeking a full-time, dependable person to join our Marine Canvas team. This position requires hands-on physical work, including preparing, setting up, and installing custom products. The right candidate will be strong, reliable, respond well to directives, and enjoy working on one-of-a-kind projects. Key Responsibilities: • Perform general manual labor tasks as directed by the supervisor • Assist with the setup, transport, and handling of materials • Load and unload materials and equipment safely Requirements: • Must have a valid driver’s license • Must be able to communicate effectively in English • Must be physically capable of lifting and moving materials • Strong work ethic and reliability • Ability to follow directions and work well in a team Compensation: • Full Time • $21/hour with opportunities for overtime

We need to hire a cleaning crew to handle a retail location in the Nags Head/Outer Banks area; We will be hiring 2 people for this position. Must be dependable and be able to work independently >>>One morning per week. We are in need of a few general laborers to assist in ground work related to tree trimming and removals. This position will assist with hauling and chipping brush, driving, chainsaw and other pruning tool use and general site cleanup. Experience in this field of work is preferred, as can be a physically demanding job. With expressed interest and continued aptitude, training can be provided to learn tree climbing and rigging. This job has the potential to grow into a more well-rounded and skilled position for the right person. We meet at our truck yard at 7:30am, coordinate vehicles and equipment for that day, and return to the yard at the end of the day, generally around 4pm with some days requiring overtime. Driver's license required.

This position is at the Tahoma National Cemetery operated by the Department of Veteran Affairs. Work includes: precisely mowing, trimming and edging around headstones and cemetery grounds. *Zero-turn mower experience required. About This Role Our Laborers work primarily on our jobsites to fill gaps between subcontractor trades and keep our projects moving safely, on-time and on-budget. Hours are usually 7am-4pm (M-F), 40-hours per week. Overtime is available, and some weekend work may be required. On a Given Day, Your Work Might Include: • Observe all safety requirements on job sites, and actively seek to correct or report safety hazards or infractions • Operate a variety of tools safely, including but not limited to: skill saw, drill, nail gun • Moving, securing, installing, building, and loading or unloading construction materials • Assisting in the building or construction of various objects • Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment • Moving dirt or other material as directed in plans or by the Project Manager • Moving items from place to place, according to direction from the Project Manager • Maintain a clean job site • Perform other duties as assigned What You’ll Need to Succeed: • 1-2 years hands-on experience in residential construction. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position.
