Position Overview We are looking for a dependable Glass Technician to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in showing up on time, working hard, and learning new skills. No prior glass experience is required—training will be provided—but previous experience in construction or glazing is a plus. About the Role Our work spans both commercial and residential glass projects, including aluminum storefront systems, windows, doors, and glass replacements. A successful Glass Technician is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to support the team every day. Key Responsibilities - Take precise measurements in the field (accuracy is critical to project success). - Assist with cutting, assembling, and installing aluminum frames. - Install and replace glass windows, doors, and storefront systems. - Handle and transport glass safely and maintain a clean jobsite. - Support senior technicians and follow project instructions closely. - Arrive on time, ready to work each scheduled day and communicate proactively with the team if any issue arises. Qualifications - Prior experience with glass or window installations is a major plus. No experience is required, but there is a strong preference for candidates who have already worked in the trade. - Reliability and consistent attendance are essential. - Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. - Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (often 50+ lbs). - Comfortable using hand and power tools. - Valid driver’s license preferred.
