Description

The Trailer Technician is responsible for the repairs and ongoing preventative maintenance of restroom, shower, Light Towers, generators, water totes, holding tanks and laundry trailers on the Site Services yard and at customer locations. This position also transports trailers to and from customer sites, including set up and tear down at Events & Emergency Response. At least three years of experience working in the electrical, plumbing, construction or maintenance field Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision Ability to perform basic math functions Ability to identify problems and implement solutions Proof of up-to-date Hepatitis B vaccination or willingness to get one Working knowledge of the operational characteristics of mechanical equipment and tools Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records Must be able to work flexible hours based on route and event schedules Experience in RV maintenance & Generators Valid Class C driver’s license Record of safe driving for the last three years *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. Job Details $22-$24 per hour depending on experience 50 or more hours per week (no weekend work) Most projects require being out of town Monday-Friday (home on weekends) Transportation provided from Kearney, NE when working out of town Paid travel time Hotel paid by company Nightly per diem for meals when working out of town (greater than sixty miles outside of Kearney, NE) Year-round employment (no winter layoffs) Requirements Work manual labor outside in a variety of weather and environmental conditions.
