Job description: Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our products are delivered efficiently and safely to our customers while also managing warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in both delivery driving and warehouse environments. Duties: Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Read invoices to pull orders together. Navigate routes effectively and efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules. Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy items. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally. Assist with inventory management in the warehouse, including stock organization and restocking as needed. Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Qualifications: Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, demonstrating reliability and punctuality is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with route driving and logistics is advantageous. Knowledge of operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is a plus but not required; training may be provided. Essential Functions: Under direction of the Property Manager, the candidate will perform varied simple and moderately physically strenuous tasks involved in cleaning and maintaining the Association buildings and grounds. The candidate will assist in making general repairs and maintenance to buildings and/or equipment and other related duties as required. The candidate may be required to run, maintain, and turn off the boiler system.   The examples of duties and responsibilities below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed by individuals in this position, rather than an extensive list. -          Perform varied simple and moderately physically strenuous tasks involved in cleaning and maintaining offices, bathrooms, buildings, and grounds. -          Light plumbing and electrical work (such as bleeding radiators, changing smoke detectors, changing light fixtures) -          Run the boiler system during required month of operation. -          Assist in making repairs to buildings or equipment. -          When assigned, move objects weighing about 50 pounds. -          When assigned, move heavy supplies, and equipment. -          Dispose of trash, recycling, and other materials to keep space safe. -          Distribute supplies to Pool during months of operation. -          Limited landscaping including trimming of trees, hedges etc., -          Perform additional salting of walkways to supplement vendors -          Other duties, as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -          Knowledge about boiler systems and their fueling, firing, maintenance, and repairs. -          Knowledge about building maintenance and repairs. -          Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and a diverse and varied resident base. -          Ability to undertake repairs and maintain equipment. Qualifications -          Black Seal Boiler Operator License. -          Minimum of two years’ experience in facilities maintenance. -          High school diploma. -          Valid NJ Driver’s license.
