Production Associate Our client is a family-owned lumber re-manufacturing business. Our client is proud to be known as one of the world's largest producers of the highest quality, wood products Summary This is an entry level general labor position. Direct experience is not necessary. This position feeds every other job in the mill and provides the opportunity to learn new skills and grow in the company. Duties • Pulling lumber off the line/chain • Stacking, sorting and packaging lumber for shipment • Applying bar codes • General clean-up of work area and yard • Work in a safe manner at all times and adhere to company safety policies and procedures • Participate in ongoing safety trainings Qualifications • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand the entire shift • Must be comfortable in year around outdoor temperatures, in loud conditions, with airborne particles (sawdust), and working around moving mechanical equipment • Must be willing to wear required PPE • Must be a self-motivated team player with good communication skills • Must be willing to perform repetitive and physical tasks • Move quickly, consistently, and safely to keep up with the current flow of production Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm **Not public transit accessible** Pay: Starts at $18/hr Apply Online: pridestaff.com/portlandwest Or Call: 971.371.4028 Or Simply come by our office: Monday - Friday 1pm to 4pm 12600 SW Crescent Street STE 180, Beaverton, OR 97005 PrideStaff Portland is a locally owned and operated equal opportunity Staffing Agency.
