Superintendent wanted for residency building in Midtown, Manhattan **THIS IS NOT A LIVE-IN POSITION** The role is a full-time commitment, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key duties include: - Building Oversight: Monitoring all activities inside, outside, and around the building. - Maintenance: Managing and performing daily maintenance tasks. - Collaboration: Working closely with the acting Administrator to resolve any building-related issues. - Waste Management: Ensuring garbage and recycling containers in the basement are organized, tidy, and placed out for collection on designated days. - Tenant Relations: Showing apartments to prospective tenants as needed. - Custodial Duties: Performing custodial assignments to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the building and property. - Emergency Response: Being available for after-hours emergencies. - Vendor Supervision: Overseeing outside vendors, contractors, and floaters for various projects. - Special Projects: Undertaking additional projects to support the overall well-being of the building. Please note that possession of an S95 Certification is required for this role. However, we are willing to provide a window of time for you to obtain this license if you do not currently possess it upon hiring.
