Kasten Builders is a custom home builder and remodeler specializing in high-end residential construction for Bay Area clientele. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Carpenter with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in residential construction. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow within a high-performing team and gain mastery over the full scope of carpentry, from site prep and demo to finishing. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude are essential. Key Qualifications • Proven experience as a carpenter. • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools. • Ability to read technical documents and drawings. • Good understanding of basic math. • Good physical condition and endurance; Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. • A reliable, suitable vehicle for construction work and travel to and from job sites. • A personal set of all necessary construction tools for a wide range of tasks. • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times. • Knowledge of English; Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a major plus. • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities • Apply expertise in carpentry techniques, tools, and materials to execute rough carpentry tasks, such as framing and installing structural components. • Execute high-quality finish carpentry tasks including but not limited to door hanging, trim installation, and cabinetry work. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
