Needed! Small Engine Mechanic and Detailer for excavators, mowers, etc (Hartville/Canton South)

One more position available! Ohio Mini Excavator, a veteran-owned, BBB Certified "A+" rated, small start-up here at our current location in Hartville is looking to hire two employees. We will be moving to Canton South this summer. Pay based on experience and we are willing to train the right person. This is a early start up that is growing exponentially. A successful candidate must/should: - Must have own transportation and a current Driver's License. Towing knowledge (bumper pull) and loading procedures/tie down - Must be comfortable working alone and unsupervised- MUST be self-motivated and honest - Should be generally knowledgable in single cylinder, V-Twin, and small diesel motors including Briggs, Predator, Rato gas engines, and Kubota diesels and mechanically inclined in general. - Be familiar in small hydraulic systems (very simple systems) - EXCELLENCE in customer service with emphasis on empathy, relations, and sales - Ability to same-day (no overnight) travel for pickup of inventory using company trucks and trailers- Bonus if CDL current, but not required. Example trip: delivery to Dayton OH. - General knowledge of cleaning, paint correction, waxing a plus. - Welding/Fabricating experience would be a plus. - Ability to learn basic forklift operation - Ability to learn, adapt and apply knowledge to current and future inventory - Tools desired, but not required. Candidate should treat all equipment as their own. - Ability to lift heavy excavator buckets, attachments, mowers, 5-gallon buckets, etc, up to 70lbs. - Sales Experience is a plus! This is a laborious, hands-on job in a heated, indoor space, but also includes outdoor customer demos (rain or shine), pickups, deliveries and trailering. We are looking for an honest person who puts integrity first and will treat customers as if they are family.
