Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Apartment Manager to oversee four residential buildings. The Apartment Manager will handle day-to-day operations including rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant communications. This role requires a balance of administrative efficiency and strong people skills to ensure tenant satisfaction and smooth building operations.
Responsibilities
Collect monthly rent payments and issue receipts.
Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, requests, and complaints.
Coordinate and schedule repairs, routine maintenance, and vendor services.
Conduct regular inspections of the buildings and units to ensure safety and upkeep.
Maintain records of rent payments, maintenance requests, and tenant communications.
Assist with lease signings, renewals, and move-in/move-out processes.
Enforce building rules and policies fairly and consistently.
Report building issues, expenses, and occupancy updates to ownership.
Light plumbing, Electrical, and occasional construction.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (some college or property management training preferred).
Previous experience in property management, leasing, or customer service is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle basic administrative tasks (record-keeping, scheduling, etc.).
Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
Basic knowledge of maintenance needs, plumbing, electrical, and vendor coordination.
Clean driving record for ability to travel between multiple building locations.
Work Environment & Benefits
Full-time Monday- Friday 7:15-4:00
On-site presence required for tenant interaction and rent collection.
Compensation: Competitive salary/stipend based on experience. Starting at 18.50/hr+
Flexible schedule with opportunity for growth in property management.
