The studio and production assistant plays a vital role in supporting our studio operation and production processes. Job Title: Studio & Production Assistant Reports to: Project Manager Rate: $24/hour Essential Functions: Receiving plant and material deliveries Organizing inventory, materials, and supplies; including studio reorganization projects Assisting in the assembly of shelving, carts and other similar units Breaking down boxes, disposing of excess materials, etc on a daily basis Organizing and taking out trash and recycling in accordance with pickup schedule Assisting in keeping studio tidy; sweeping & cleaning shared spaces such as kitchen, restrooms and break area Occasional off-site warehouse/storage cleanup and organization Assisting in the planting & organizing of outbound production installations as needed Requirements: Proactive, hard-working, and punctual Organized with good time management skills Willingness and ability to learn Must be energetic, motivated, hardworking, honest, reliable, responsible and love working with plants Physical Demands: Most work tasks are performed in a space where the environmental conditions vary widely. Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours per day. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the property or other areas on a timely basis. Must be able to lift 35 lbs + Must be able to move items weighing in excess of 50 lbs. routinely. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to perform daily tasks. Position: Moving Truck Driver Job Summary: A Moving Truck Driver will be responsible being part of a moving team and transporting household goods and the moving team from one location to another using a Company authorized vehicle. Duties/Responsibilities: • Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day. • Wrap/pack and physically move household goods into and out of moving truck into client’s location. • Loads delivery vehicle items scheduled for pick-up and delivery. • Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary. • Maintains basic hours of service records when traveling. • Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to drive safely trucks that are 16’-26’ large. • Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps. • Ability to plan delivery routes. • Ability to maintain basic logs and records. • Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision. • Able to remain professional and courteous at all times. Education and Experience: • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Valid medical card. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. • Must be able to pass the physical requirements to obtain DOT medical card. • Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather. COMPENSATION: $21-$25 hourly rate and overtime after 40 hours. Duties/Responsibilities: • Wrap/pack furniture and fragile household goods items on assigned jobs. • Closely follows directions of Foremen and management staff and safely load/ unload goods in moving truck. • Provide quality customer service to all clients. • Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions. • Flexible working hours • Ability to work in a variety of roles. • Comfortable taking public transportation to various work sites. Education and Experience: • Previous moving experience preferred. • Warehouse experience a plus. • Job training for this position is provided by Company. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods standing, walking and lifting. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions. • Ability to work early and overnight shifts. Pay: $18 to $20 plus tips. Overtime paid after 40 hours, bonus and tips.
