Position Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman / Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This full-time role involves delivering construction materials, performing small handyman and punch list tasks, and supporting project site logistics. Responsibilities: Safely deliver materials and tools to job sites as needed Perform minor handyman tasks, such as reattaching wall fixtures and completing punch list items Assist with final site cleanup Deliver and remove dump trailers with construction debris Support general job site operations and project needs Requirements: Fluent in English (spoken and written) Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, or Ukrainian is a strong plus Must have valid driver's license and be capable of driving a truck with a trailer Prior construction experience required Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Why Join Us? JOB SUMMARY: Enable the Sanctuary Medicinals Cultivation Team to grow quality crops with minimal pest or disease by partnering with the IPM Supervisor and Growing Managers to meet any established goals. Lead by example in order to motivate employees in a way that results in a high level of functioning among the individual team members and promote best IPM practices throughout the facility. After appropriate training, independently perform all responsibilities listed on the Integrated Pest Management Assistant job description as well as any goals or tasks assigned. Support Sanctuary Medicinals Mission Statement in all job-related functions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Complete projects accurately and by deadline as assigned, promptly communicating with IPM coordinator when unable to do so. 2.Participate in IPM department educational outreach programs at Four Star Greenhouse to result in an educated workforce that can accurately identify pests and diseases. 3.Scout Cultivation/Propagation Grow Rooms for insect and disease pressure. Accurately relay this information back to the IPM Supervisor and help disseminate information to the appropriate section grower/s. 4. Ensure that weekly treatments applications/sprays are completed on time and accurately while adhering to all Sanctuary Medicinals protocols 5. Ensure Biological Control Organisms (BIOS) are properly placed in and applied to crops. 6. Take accurate and timely readings of sticky traps and record findings in database. 7. Participate in projects that help the IPM department. 8. Make sure new crop arrivals/deliveries are scouted prior to introduction into the greenhouse in such a manner that results in minimal disruption to other departments while preventing pest and disease from entering the Facility/Cultivation Rooms. Assistant in maintenance of Facility Pest Control. ESSENTIAL WORK HABITS: 1. **Adjust schedule seasonally as needed. IE - willing to work more or less hours depending on the needs of the department. Work weekends and holidays as necessary. ** 2. Report to work as scheduled, maintaining a level of absences that results in minimal departmental disruption and minimal unfair burden another employees. 3. Communicate effectively with all fellow employees, forming collaborative partnerships with the various departments to proactively address conflicts that may arise in day-to-day operations and promptly reporting when unable to do so.Communicate all relevant job related information to IPM Supervisor and Product Line Managers as needed. Anticipate and report problems or challenges with crops without delay. Suggest solutions to crop challenges. 4. Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with all fellow employees and across all departments. Promote positive morale by working effectively as a team across departments. Act as an ambassador for our department whenever interacting with members of other departments and exemplify the values of cooperation, collaboration and teamwork. 5. Promptly record and report pest and disease outbreaks to IPM coordinator. Communicate pest and disease finding to section growers and PLM as needed and as assigned. 6. Set goals and standards along with the IPM team as well as yourself. Share these goals promptly and regularly with the IPM supervisor. Implement and share results of experiments that will benefit an individual, the team, or the company. 7. Embrace training opportunities and self-educate to become an expert on each piece of greenhouse equipment and integrated pest management techniques. 8. Quickly learn and adapt to new systems, techniques,equipment and other new company or department direction. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: 1. Accurately scout and identify insect & disease problems within the crops 2. Demonstrate more than a basic knowledge of computers and applications including, MS Office suite, demonstrate ability to learn our unique industry specific programs as well as potential new software as needed. 3. Ensure that small-scale,targeted sprays are achieving desired results. 4. Stay current with all operating,maintenance, and safety protocols for each piece of greenhouse equipment or process used. 5. Educate fellow employees about pest and disease pressure in terms that they understand with the end goal of creating a plant pest and disease educated workforce. 6. Demonstrate strong analytical skills & foresight in identifying areas in need of improvement and by developing innovative solutions. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. A minimum of 1 years of related experience preferred. PHYSICAL ASPECTS: 1. Bulk of the job is spent standing or walking, bending to the ground and reaching overhead, pulling carts on 4 wheel castors weighing over 50 lbs. 2.Lifting a minimum of 25 lbs. 3. Must pass respirator “fit” test. 4. Must pass respirator evaluation to be eligible for spray applications. 5. Employee will be exposed to the sun and/or high intensity lights. 6. Employee will work in a wet environment where clothes and footwear can become saturated. 7. Employee may be exposed to temperatures that can be at or 10-20 degrees above outside temperature. 8. Rolling, unrolling, and using irrigation hoses & high pressure hoses. 9. Applying fungicides using hand pulled sprayers. 10. Demonstrate a high degree of comfort interacting directly with Insects 11.Using hand lenses to count small insects 11 .
