Pete's RV is looking for service technician apprentices to join our growing team! This position is responsible for testing all equipment and appliances on the RV unit prior to customer pick-up. Responsibilities: Performs minor repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including; carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, painting, HVAC, etc. Prioritizes work orders, handle urgent requests and complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance work and procedures Ensures all shop repair and maintenance policies, procedures, SOP’s, codes, regulations, etc. are followed and enforced including safety systems and standards Requirements Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching and lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting/repairing underground coal mining equipment Perform full service on all equipment, diesel or electric Proper troubleshooting techniques on diesel and electric equipment Visually inspect and secure work area for hazards or potential hazards Ensure equipment, and tools are utilized in a safe and responsible manner Self-motivated and confident to work individually, but also the ability to work well with others as a team Determine the type and extent of repair work needed on various types of mining equipment Interpret blueprints, and schematics Perform work area housekeeping duties Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Other duties as necessary Requirements Experience with both diesel and electrical underground coal mining equipment 2 +  years experience, preferred Benefits In-experienced Mechanics are processed through a contracting service starting at $20.00 per hour.
