Construction Foreman (Russellville)
EXPERIENCE WITH INSTALLATION OF INSULATED METAL PANELS IS A PLUS. Lead & monitor team members to ensure operations flow and work is being performed safely and quality. Work alongside and supervise workers responsible for miscellaneous construction projects. Ensure that crew complies with site rules, safety, and construction standards. Prepare and submit accurate, detailed, written daily reports for the project. Keep the team’s energy and spirits up. Resolve issues between workers or fire employees who don’t pull their weight. Communicate instructions, inspect work, and work side-by-side with their employees to demonstrate techniques or help. Provide assistance to Site Safety, Health, and Substance Abuse Program to ensure the safety and well being of all personnel at the job sites. Maintain communications with Project Manager to ensure proper coordination of the project among the on-site office, job site operations and subcontractors/suppliers for the project.
MUST HAVE:
Minimum 5 years of Foreman experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor performing general construction work. Experience in supervising/managing employees and motivating them to complete projects on schedule. Knowledge and experienced in carpentry, including but not limited to; metal frame, drywall, doors & hardware, acoustical ceilings, flooring, painting, etc.. Ability to read blue prints and construction plans, maintain equipment and manage paperwork. Good communication, management, and coordination skills. Must have current Driver’s License, OSHA Safety Course Certification, Operator licenses, Red Cross First Aid; and CPR Certification. Ability to pass background check for work at federal buildings and military bases.
