Responsibilities • Responsible for moving air cargo within designated warehouse. • Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers. • Build up cargo for outbound flights. • Break down cargo from import flights. • Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks. • May operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets and pallet jacks. • Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo. • Confirm Dangerous Goods (DG) have been checked within aircraft limits and Follow specific procedure for DG shipments when received, including when shipment is abandoned by consignee. • Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids. We are looking a warehouse associate to join our team. We are located in Elk Grove Village, IL. Must be bilingual. Pay - $20 to start. Our hours of operation are 8:30am to 5pm. Monday through Friday. Ship customers whose credit cards went thru, void remaining invoices. Ship out orders in a timely manner Local event and tradeshow assistance as directed Stocking supply and restrooms; light cleaning according to schedule When done with shipping for the other day, proactively help other departments perform other tasks Reliable transportation Other tasks as needed such as light cleaning.
