Job description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various framing techniques and be able to read blueprints effectively. This role involves constructing frameworks for buildings, ensuring structural integrity, and collaborating with other trades to complete projects on time and within specifications. Duties Construct and install frameworks for walls, floors, and roofs according to blueprints and specifications. Perform metal stud framing and assist with masonry tasks as required. Engage in remodeling projects, ensuring quality workmanship throughout the process. Execute trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of finished structures. Install plaster and other finishing materials as needed. Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure adherence to project timelines and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in framing, including knowledge of installation techniques for various materials. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans. Familiarity with masonry work is a plus. Experience in remodeling projects is desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
