I have here a solid mechanical Honda Insight other than what I believe to be a head gasket. I have owned it for a few years, dead reliable zero problems until it stopped running one day. Will drive better than nearly any other insight you show me, no grinds in transmission including downshifts to second like most. Hybrid battery was working well and strong as it was replaced, can't speak on exact current condition, but I am including a grid charger and harness already installed. I installed for preventative maintenance just in case it gave me issues in future. The good: Engine felt super strong for what these cars are. I've been in/driven 5+ insights. Battery feels super strong and quick with no hesitation. Newish battery All mechanicals were working and properly functioning making this car dead reliable and I bet youll be able to do a head gasket and drive it for a long time before any other issues. Cons: Door lock actuators hit or miss, should be replaced to have full central locking and key remote locking. Doesn't always work. Headliner sagging. Typical. Faded paint. Typical. I think this car was worth 3-4k and the head gasket should be $600-$1,200. Or if you can do it yourself, less than a couple hundred. I've moved to the east coast, and only back in town from Wednesday 8/13 to Tuesday 8/19 to show and sell it. Text or call me to set up a day/time to come view it. Photos are old and NOT recent. Currently dirty. I can help detail it.
