Description

Berry Street is a business-in-a-box platform enabling registered dietitians to start and scale private practices that accept health insurance. We provide all of the software needed to run a thriving practice and administrative services like insurance contracting, eligibility verification, customer support, claims billing, and even patient acquisition. The Opportunity Berry Street is tackling America’s most comprehensive health crisis: food. More than half of Americans are struggling with their relationship with food, are clinically overweight, or suffer from a chronic condition linked to their diet. Nutrition therapy is clinically proven to make a difference, and most commercial health insurance plans cover it at $0 out-of-pocket. Berry Street empowers registered dietitians to launch and grow in-network private practices. We’re creating game-changing technology to build America’s largest dietitian network and ensure that anyone can access the help they need. Since launching in January 2023, we’ve grown to over 1,000 providers on our platform and tens of thousands of patients served, across all 50 states. We’re a Series B company backed by top VCs like Northzone, Sofina, and FJ Labs, as well as angel investors like the founders of Revolut, Spring, Grow Therapy, and Unified Vision. About the Role At Berry Street, we believe intuitive, human-centered design is essential to building trust in healthcare. As we continue to expand access to nutrition care, we're looking for a Senior Product Designer who can help raise the bar crafting elegant, scalable solutions across patient and provider experiences. In this role, you’ll collaborate on high-impact projects end-to-end, working from first principles to final products. You'll collaborate with teammates in product, engineering, and operations to bring new features to life, improve existing journeys, and deepen user engagement. We're looking for someone who brings a thoughtful, systems-oriented mindset, a bias for action, and a passion for our mission. You’ll join our small but mighty Product & Design team. This is a high-autonomy role with room to shape our design culture and influence the future of nutrition care delivery. Key Responsibilities Design intuitive, high-quality user experiences across mobile and web—spanning patient flows, provider portals, and internal tools. Lead design on key product initiatives from discovery through launch, using a mix of UX research, prototyping, and visual design. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and operations leaders to align on goals, ship efficiently, and ensure a high bar for quality. Use data, research, and customer insight to inform design decisions and continuously improve our product experiences. Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product suite. Help shape a culture of craft and care—we want to be known for the quality and intentionality of every interaction. Requirements We’d Love To Hear From You If…  You have 5+ years of product design experience creating engaging digital products. You bring strong visual design and interaction design skills, paired with a user-first mindset. You’re motivated by solving real, messy, complex problems, not just pushing pixels. You’re a collaborative teammate who loves feedback, iteration, and learning from users. You’re comfortable owning projects independently and navigating ambiguity with confidence. You care about craft with a no detail is too small mentality, and you aim to deliver work that feels simple, elegant, and trustworthy.
