Brightwild is seeking a full-time Senior Maintenance Technician to perform a range of general maintenance tasks, supporting our mission of creating exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a highly motivated individual capable of working independently while utilizing the company’s technology tools to efficiently manage and complete daily tasks. Strong communication and collaboration across teams are essential. The salary range will be determined by the level of experience. What You’ll Do As a Senior Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure our vacation rental units are impeccably maintained. This includes: Preventative Maintenance Perform basic HVAC maintenance, including filter changes and cleaning. Conduct unit inspections to identify necessary repairs or updates. Test and repair lights, outlets, and other electrical fixtures. Apply minor caulking to tubs, showers, and toilets as needed. Reactive Maintenance Troubleshoot basic HVAC issues, including breakers, drains, and thermostats. Handle light plumbing tasks such as toilet repairs and pipe maintenance. Diagnose and repair basic electrical issues. Address cable/Wi-Fi connectivity problems. Perform basic appliance troubleshooting and repairs. Replace and repair fixtures, door locks, and hardware. Complete drywall repairs, painting, and trim work. Conduct pressure washing and trash removal as needed. Technology and Communication Use company-provided apps and tools to manage daily tasks, schedule maintenance, and track progress. Coordinate third-party vendors for specialized repairs when necessary. Maintain open communication with GEMS (Guest Experience Managers) and the Maintenance Coordinator regarding unit readiness and task completion. Document work hours and ensure schedules are maintained digitally. Other Responsibilities Adapt to new tasks as they arise, ensuring the properties remain well-maintained and guest-ready. Uphold Brightwild’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality. Requirements Proven experience in property maintenance, with a focus on self-management and task prioritization. Reliable transportation to and from work sites. A smart device capable of running property management and communication apps. A basic set of tools for routine maintenance tasks. Strong troubleshooting skills for maintenance issues. Experience with basic electrical diagnostics, plumbing projects, and woodworking. Basic computer skills and comfort with technology. A commitment to high-quality customer service when interacting with guests. Schedule flexibility, including availability for occasional after-hours calls. Physical Demands Must be able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds with or without accommodation. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and reach above shoulders and head. Must be able to climb and work off of a ladder. Must be able to stand and/or walk continuously throughout shift. Must be able to work with medium/heavy chemicals.
